Comparatives Relay / 比較のリーレ

Goals: Practice comparatives

Preparation: Whiteboard or blackboard

目的: 比較の言葉を練習する

準備: 黒板

  • Brainstorm nouns in the middle of the board and number them.
  • Split the class into teams and have a relay race with the students finding ways to compare the different nouns.
  • The students can use the numbers as shorthand for the nouns. For example,  “11 (Obama) is cooler than 12 (Anpanman).”
  • One point for every correct sentence. The team with the most points wins.


  • 黒板を別けて、真ん中に名詞を集める。全部の単語に数字を書く。
  • 生徒をチームに別けて、リーレをする。順番で生徒は二つの名詞を選んで、比べる文章を書く。
  • 省略として数字を使う。例えば、「11 (Obama) is cooler than 12 (Anpanman).」
  • 正しい文章に1ポイントを貰って、ポイントが多いチームは勝ち。
